R-A-Design

A backyard studio space for a client in Oakland, California.  We used redwood board and batten siding to help the structure blend in with the existing garden.  The contemporary design provides a counterpoint to the classic 1905 bungalow located at the front of the property.  The homeowners use the space as a home office, as well as, a spot to enjoy their garden.
