Villa Colinas del Mar
San Jose del Cabo, located at the southeast tip of the Baja Peninsula, offers a wonderful climate, access to the crystal blue waters of the Sea of Cortez, as well as, a vibrant arts and culinary scene. I first travelled to San Jose del Cabo about fifteen years ago. While the town has changed dramatically since my early visits, I've returned annually, generally around the Christmas holidays. Four years ago, my partner and I purchased a home in the Rancho Cerro Colorado neighborhood, located just a few miles south along the coast from San Jose del Cabo. Villa Colinas del Mar
The construction of Villa Colinas del Mar began in early May 2021, with completion expected by the end of 2022. A 2,530 square foot, 3-bedroom, 4-bathroom single-family residence, it will be built in the gated community of Rancho Cerro Colorado in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, The home will include a swimming pool, detached 2-car garage, as well as, outdoor terraces with landscaped gardens. Each room offers views of the Sea of Cortez and the surrounding hillsides.
This home has been designed with expansive living, dining, and kitchen spaces on the ground floor, all with direct access to the outdoor terrace, swimming pool and garden. Three bedrooms, located on the upper floors, all are sized for king-sized beds with views of the sea. Each includes an ensuite bath with double sinks, a large walk-in shower and sea view. Vaulted and beamed ceilings in the living room, Mexican concrete tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms, stone floors, and custom lighting throughout will be featured in the design of the house.
Life in Los Cabos centers around the outdoors. Villa Colinas del Mar has been designed to take advantage of the outdoors with its large glass doors that open to a series of outdoor terraces and private garden spaces.
Access to the Punta Bella and Palmilla beaches are a short walk down the street. Other amazing beaches, world-class sport fishing, surfing, as well as numerous championship-level golf courses are all close by. The historic center of San Jose del Cabo, which offers a wonderful art and culinary scene, is less than ten minutes away.
